Domain reveals most-googled terms among property buyers
An interesting list showing what property buyers are looking for right now on the market
The recent Domain Property Report reveals the top 10 searched terms among property buyers in Sydney, bringing to light what people are looking for nowadays when making a purchase decision.
Inside the top 10, "Pool" topped the list showing people's rising desire for facilities and amentities within or close to their own nest without having to travel afar. During the pandemic and lockdown, Australians have tasted the frustrations of being forced to stay at home and the importance of close-by entertainment.
Search term such as "Granny Flat" and "Study" also reveals buyers' greater need for space and higher priority for a dedicated work space. With plenty of employers now accepting the viability of working-from-home.
Location remains a key for home hunters with search terms like "Views", "Balcony", "Waterfront" and "Courtyard" making the top 10 in October.
